A. The first visit is typically 1 – 1 ½ hr. and involves a detailed intake and thorough physical exam and may also include laboratory testing such as urine or blood analysis. Third visits and other follow-up visits are typically 4-6 weeks apart and are 30 min. in length. During these visits, there is a re-assessment of the patients condition and modifications are made to the treatment protocol if necessary.
